NQB Security looks after access control, CCTV, alarms and monitoring for businesses running sites across South East Brisbane. The work is designed around keeping the site operational: documented equipment, a direct fault path and one person who knows what was installed rather than a rotating ticket queue.
Commercial security becomes urgent in very specific ways. A roller door that will not arm. Staff who cannot get through a controlled door while a delivery truck blocks the driveway. A camera that was not recording the day something happened. We start from those failure moments and design backwards, which changes decisions about battery backup, key overrides, retention and documentation that a spec-sheet quote never considers.
The most common commercial situation we walk into is inherited: gear from different installers across multiple sites, no documentation, nobody sure which cameras record or who is on the monitoring account. The fix is a takeover: we assess each site, keep what is worth keeping, fix what is not, and build a written record as we go. From then on there is one number, and whoever answers it knows your sites.

Yes, because the model is documentation, not memory. Every site gets a written record of what is installed, where it runs and how it is configured, so nothing depends on one person’s recall, and overflow work can be handed to the subcontractor network without a briefing meeting.
Yes, and it is the most common commercial job we do. Existing Bosch, Hikvision, Dahua and Inner Range gear can usually be taken over, documented and serviced, then upgraded in stages as budget allows. Very little of it needs ripping out on day one; the assessment tells you which parts genuinely do.
Yes, priced per site once the equipment and its actual maintenance needs are understood. Inclusions are set out up front so there are no callout surprises, and the agreement can be sized to the sites that need it rather than forced across all of them.
Yes. Modern security equipment lives on the network, so we plan the install with whoever manages yours, whether that is an internal person or an external provider. IP addressing, network segments and remote access get agreed and documented, which prevents the usual standoff where the security installer and IT each assume the other handled it.
